The Kara Todori Mansion, one of the important mansions on the Istanbul Bosphorus, has been put up for sale through foreclosure. Located in the Yeniköy district of Sarıyer, this prestigious mansion was built in 1871 by the renowned architect Sarkis Balyan. The mansion, which has access to a waterfront, also features 12 rooms and boat outbuildings. Sarkis Balyan, born in Istanbul in 1835, was a member of the famous Armenian Balyan family of architects who lived during the Ottoman period.
